New York, NY—September 14, 2016—Ares Capital Corporation (Nasdaq: ARCC) announced that it has priced an underwritten public offering of $600.0 million in aggregate principal amount of 3.625% notes due 2022. The notes will mature on January 19, 2022 and may be redeemed in whole or in part at Ares Capital’s option at any time at par plus a “make-whole” premium, if applicable.
BofA Merrill Lynch, Wells Fargo Securities, J.P. Morgan, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Barclays, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley, BMO Capital Markets, Deutsche Bank Securities, Mizuho Securities, RBC Capital Markets and SMBC Nikko are acting as joint book-running managers for this offering. The offering is expected to close on September 19, 2016, subject to customary closing conditions.
